Warranty Information
bignoiseamplification@live.com
I stand behind my work and the workmanship that goes into BigNoise amplification made pedals. All of my pedals are guaranteed against defective parts and workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase to the original owner.
If a component fails inside the pedal, if a potentiometer fails or so, I will repair this free of charge (minus the cost of shipping to and from the repair location) during the warranty period.
The warranty does not cover damages caused by user error or accidents (for example wrong or faulty power supply plugged in to the pedal, damage through outside impact or damage through liquids).
BigNoise amplification reserves the right to determine what damages constitute “user error”.
I can and will still repair damage through “user error” however such a repair will incur a fee for labour, parts and shipping. This will be clearly assessed and communicated before any work is done.
It is important that you include as much information as possible about what is wrong with a pedal. This is especially helpful for intermittent problems or problems that only occur at specific settings.
Always contact me first to discuss and in many instances I can give advice that might fix the problem on the spot if it might be caused by faulty equipment (power supplies, patch cables etc.).
After that 2 year period, I can repair any problems that might happen to appear in my pedals, but there will be a fee assessed to cover parts and/or labour. I will do our best to keep repair charges as low as possible. If unusual and complex parts are needed or a full PCB replacement is called for this may take as long as 6-8 weeks if parts are out of stock and need to be ordered.
I will communicate the status of the work regularly.
